Located in Pengjiang District Chen Baisha Memorial Hall, Chen Baisha Shrine is the national key cultural relic protection unit. Chen Baisha, whose real name was Chen Xianzhang, was a Neo- Confucianist, calligrapher and poet of the Ming Dynasty. He founded the "Jiangmen School of Thought" and was the pioneer of enlightened Confucianism.
