With a whistle, the China Europe freight train carrying air conditioning, color TVs, various furniture, hardware products, paper products and other goods slowly departed from Jiangmen North Station, heading towards Europe with the slogan "Jiangmen Manufacturing". Recently, the reporter learned from Jiangmen North Station that in the first seven months of this year, Jiangmen North Station operated one international freight train per month in a combination of trunk and branch lines. Since the opening of the first China Laos and China Europe international freight trains in the Zhuxi and Yuexi regions in 2022, Jiangmen North Station has operated a total of 5 China Laos trains and 25 China Europe trains.

Since the opening of the China Europe freight train, it has attracted a large number of local and surrounding enterprises' attention. In order to fully leverage the role of Jiangmen North Station as a "sell globally, buy globally" logistics channel, the Zhuxi Logistics Management Committee actively visited customs departments, conducted in-depth research on advantageous industries in Jiangmen, understood the logistics needs of enterprises, and sorted out the import and export of goods through the China Europe freight train in Jiangmen and surrounding areas. On this basis, the Zhuxi Logistics Management Committee also cooperated with the Jiangmen Department of Commerce to build a city and county level China Europe freight train source organization platform, held international freight trains, foreign trade policies, and RCEP situation lectures, and promoted China Europe freight trains to enterprises. At present, the Zhuxi Logistics Management Committee has signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Guangzhou COSCO Shipping Logistics Co., Ltd., agreeing to carry out in-depth cooperation in the development of international freight train customers, operation and customs clearance.

It is worth mentioning that Jiangmen North Station has upgraded and optimized customs clearance facilitation measures. Currently, Jiangmen North Station Railway Customs has achieved one declaration, one inspection, and one release, which can meet the customs clearance requirements of cross-border trains.
