Recently, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation announced the list of the 75th batch of general grants and the 17th batch of special grants. A total of 11 postdoctoral fellows in our city have received funding, including 9 general grants and 2 special grants, setting a new record for the number of grants received.

The China Postdoctoral Science Foundation is a research fund established by the state specifically for postdoctoral researchers in station, aiming to promote outstanding postdoctoral researchers with development potential and innovation ability to conduct innovative research during their station period, and cultivate a high-level innovative postdoctoral talent team.

The Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has always attached great importance to the construction and development of the postdoctoral talent team, actively encouraging postdoctoral fellows to apply for projects funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, regularly holding application training, inviting experienced experts to provide special guidance, and helping postdoctoral talents broaden their research horizons and improve their research level. More than 140 people participated in online and offline training in the first half of this year.

In addition, the bureau also fully utilizes the advantage of the National Postdoctoral Innovation (Jiangmen) Demonstration Center linking high-quality talent and scientific and technological innovation resources across the country, actively creating high-level academic exchange opportunities for doctoral (post) talents, while strengthening the construction of industrial enterprise doctoral (post) research platforms, promoting precise docking between universities, research institutions and enterprises, actively building an integrated platform of industry university research, and stimulating the innovation vitality of postdoctoral talents.

As of now, a total of 65 postdoctoral fellows in our city have received funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation during their tenure at the station, forming a good situation of abundant "PhD" development and significant "station" results.
