Recently, Kaiping Customs, a subsidiary of Jiangmen Customs, issued the first China Serbia Free Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin for Yunfeng (Kaiping) Electronic Products Co., Ltd. in Jiangmen City.

It is reported that the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Serbia is the first free trade agreement signed between China and Central and Eastern European countries. After the agreement officially comes into effect on July 1, 2024, China and Serbia will gradually cancel tariffs on 90% of tariff items, and the proportion of zero tariff tariff tariff items in the final import value will reach about 95%. It is expected that Jiangmen's exports of bathroom, textile, electronic circuit industries, and other light industrial products to Serbia will benefit from it.

At the same time, it fully implements the "Smart Customs Strong Country" action, optimizes the process of origin visa processing, implements the "Intelligent Visa Review+Manual Review" operation mode, and combines the "self-service printing" of origin certificates to achieve "instant reporting, instant review, and instant processing" of visas, minimizing the time for enterprises to apply for certificates.

In the first half of this year, Jiangmen Customs issued a total of 36000 certificates of origin, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%, with a value of 11.64 billion yuan.
