Less than a week after Arbor Day, good news came from the ecological construction of Green Beauty Jiangmen: According to statistics, as of March 18th, Jiangmen has completed 305000 rural greening trees, exceeding this year's planned tasks ahead of schedule.

How was the "Overseas Chinese Hometown Green" refined behind the impressive data?

Since the beginning of this year, Jiangmen has taken more solid steps in ecological civilization construction and green development: closely integrating rural greening work with the in-depth implementation of the "Million and Ten Thousand Project", promoting it as a whole, organizing departments to do a good job in overall planning and coordination, natural resources, agriculture and rural areas and other departments to fulfill their respective responsibilities, actively mobilizing party members, the masses, and all sectors of society to participate in the front line of rural greening.

The 305000 trees have become a new scenery in early spring, and also embody the determination of the whole city of Jiangmen to pursue greenery.

Lingnan spring comes early, and planting greenery is just the right time. On March 12th, the 46th Arbor Day in China, Jiangmen City launched the voluntary tree planting activity for promoting green and beautiful Guangdong ecological construction in 2024 in the land of overseas Chinese hometown.

Using shovels to shovel soil, supporting trees to fill pits, trampling on soil to compact seedlings, and lifting buckets to water... Officials and people from all over Jiangmen work together and cooperate harmoniously to widely plant tree species such as Pingpo, Hainan Red Bean, Red Bauhinia, and Purple Campanula. On that day, all counties (cities, districts), towns (streets), and villages (communities) in the city jointly held a total of 207 voluntary tree planting activities, with 11000 participants and about 34500 trees planted, adding new green to the land of overseas Chinese hometown.
