The 2023 China Coffee Brewing Competition, hosted by the China Coffee Alliance and Shanghai Kajinghui Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Jiangmen, Guangdong -Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area. 18 contestants from Jiangmen, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Maoming, Chaozhou and other places staged a wonderful coffee brewing competition.

The China Coffee Brewing Competition has been held 8 times since its opening in 2015, with 220 competitions held in 32 provinces (cities, autonomous regions) and 165 cities, covering 94% of the provinces in China. This competition has created a new situation for the China Coffee Competition, in terms of event specifications, professional level of hosting, participants and judges, number of volunteers, and online and offline audience.

In recent years, the number of coffee shops in various regions of Jiangmen has grown rapidly, and citizens' enthusiasm for coffee consumption has been increasing. According to data released by market regulatory authorities, there are currently 1251 coffee shops in Jiangmen, with 370 new ones added in 2022, ranking among the top in the country. Holding various large-scale events is also an effective way to further precipitate and develop coffee culture.

This competition is jointly organized by the Coffee Professional Committee of Jiangmen Commercial Association and Jiangmen Jian Ai Home. Since its establishment, the Coffee Professional Committee has successfully held a series of activities such as the first China Overseas Chinese Capital (Jiangmen) Coffee Culture Week Cultural Fair, Jiangmen Coffee Professional Skills Competition, Coffee List Selection, and Overseas Chinese Capital Coffee Map. This time, it has also introduced national high-level competitions to settle in Jiangmen, actively promoting the development of the Jiangmen coffee industry and striving to enhance the value of the "Overseas Chinese Capital Coffee" city brand, It also provides a platform for cultivating a large number of young coffee brewing talents.
