Recently, the first Jiangmen Macao Baby Nurses Vocational Skills Competition jointly hosted by the Jiangmen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Government of Macau Labor Affairs Bureau closed in Jiangmen. This competition is the first Prefecture-level city in China to jointly hold the "Nanyue Housekeeping" series - Baby Nurses Vocational Skills Competition.

This competition lasts for 3 days and mainly focuses on the single person competition of the baby care program. The main assessment content includes skills in daily care, health and nursing, health and management, implementation of infant and young child education, guidance and training, etc. 60 contestants from Jiangmen and Macau demonstrated their strengths in the competition.

It is understood that for the contestants who won the first prize, the second prize, the third prize and the winner's prize in the final of the competition, according to the relevant regulations, the Level III (senior worker) vocational skill certificate for the direct nuclear development baby workers will be issued by the Labor Affairs Bureau of the Government of Macau Government.

In recent years, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Jiangmen City has vigorously carried out the mutual recognition of skills registration in Macao and Jiangmen, and piloted the skills evaluation service of "one trial and two certificates" in Jiangmen and Macao. Candidates who have passed the vocational skill level certification can obtain both vocational skill level certificates and Macao vocational skill certificates. At present, 146 vocational skill certificates of "one trial and two certificates" have been issued to Macao compatriots, providing high-quality talent support and guarantee for the construction of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.

In the next step, Jiangmen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will further deepen the vocational skills cooperation between Jiangmen and Macao, work with Hong Kong and Macao to promote new development of vocational skills cooperation in the fields of vocational skills training, such as vocational skills evaluation, vocational skills standard development, and provide high-quality technical talents support and guarantee for the construction of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
