The Sixth General Meeting of the board of directors and supervisors of Jiangmen overseas Chinese Merchants Association and the fourth general meeting of the Council of the Youth Association were held. The new general meetings of the board of directors and supervisors of Jiangmen overseas Chinese Merchants Association and the Youth Association were formed respectively. Wu xiaohui, deputy secretary of the municipal Party committee and mayor, attended the event and delivered a speech. Municipal leaders Li huiwen and Tang huihong attended the event.

Wu xiaohui congratulated and thanked the Municipal Federation of overseas Chinese businessmen for its contribution to the economic and social development of Jiangmen. Jiangmen is seizing the major opportunities of the construction of the "two zones" and the two cooperation zones of Hengqin and Qianhai, continuously deepening reform and opening up, and increasing the momentum of development. She sent a message to Jiangmen overseas Chinese businessmen that they should cherish their home and country, enhance their awareness of opportunities, strengthen their confidence in development, adjust their product structure, practice their internal skills, strive for more market share, seize opportunities and show new achievements around the "Hong Kong Macao integration" and "overseas Chinese empowerment" projects. We should love our hometown, give play to the leading role of "chain leader" enterprises and backbone enterprises while accelerating our own development, focus on the development of industries such as industry, agriculture, construction, culture and tourism, adhere to the principle of business security, business gathering, and business promotion, guide and drive the coordinated development of relevant industrial chains, and make greater contributions to the solid and stable economy. We should carry forward the spirit of patriotism, love of hometown and striving for progress, attach importance to the growth of young entrepreneurs and the inheritance of entrepreneurship, actively participate in the construction of Changdi style street and other cities, tell the story of the Chinese capital of overseas Chinese, and carry forward the culture of the Chinese capital of overseas Chinese. We should actively practice the concept of green development, take the initiative to fulfill the main responsibility of enterprises, actively participate in the integrated protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grass and sand, and play a demonstration and leading role in promoting the coordinated development of regional green economy and environmental protection.

Wu xiaohui said that all departments at all levels will, as always, support the work of the Municipal Federation of overseas Chinese businessmen and the Youth Association, be a good "mother's family" and "close friend" of the overseas Chinese, make every effort to provide good services, and strive to promote the implementation of a package of national, provincial and municipal policies and measures to stabilize the economy, so as to create a good development environment for the majority of overseas Chinese enterprises. It is hoped that all enterprises will put forward more valuable opinions and suggestions, promote the "overseas Chinese resources" to be better transformed into the development advantages of Jiangmen, and jointly build and share the bright future of the new pattern of high-quality development of overseas Chinese capital in the new era.
