Jiangmen Municipality is located in the west of the Pearl River Delta on the coast of the South China Sea, adjoining Foshan in the north, Zhongshan and Zhuhai in the east, Zhaoqing in the west and Yangjiang in the south and adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao. It covers a land area of 9541 square kilometers and has a resident population of 4.10 million.
